Planning at Wedding at Warrenwood Manor

Wedding planning should be fun whether clients are planning an event in their backyard or thousands of miles away. We believe this with our whole heart so we’ve built our services around what destination wedding clients need and want throughout the planning process. Here is exactly what our clients have loved about planning their destination wedding at Warrenwood Manor.

One Venue for All Your Events

We want our clients to feel at home at Warrenwood. In almost all of our wedding packages, we include at least four hours of property access in the afternoon the day before our client’s wedding for setup and ceremony rehearsal.  We’ve had clients add on time in the morning to host a bridesmaids’ luncheon or extend their time in the evening to host their rehearsal dinner at Warrenwood. It is a nice time for clients to set back and have a relaxed day with family and friends.

On their wedding day, clients can hang out at Warrenwood all day.  Clients and their crew have the time and space to get ready onsite with a glam squad.  Clients also host their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at Warrenwood. We’ve also had clients host their bridesmaids’ luncheon the day before the wedding and survivor’s brunch the day after the wedding. Having our clients ceremony and reception in the same place helps to remove the stress of transporting guests to and from the venue.

Event Essentials Included

Warrenwood clients rarely need to work with a rental company at all. Onsite we have a selection of tables and premium chairs for your ceremony, cocktail & reception. These items are included in our venue rental packages. Clients can also rent items from us like table linens, bar fronts, and arches. If a client wants something we don’t have onsite, we have several excellent rental companies in the area.

Not only do we include tables and chairs, but we also handle the setup and cleanup of all these items. Clients and their guests won’t need to move a single table or stack a single chair.  We handle all that for them.

We plan, clients celebrate!

After hosting over 100 weddings, we have a pretty good idea of what works best here at Warrenwood. Therefore, many of our destination wedding clients entrust us with the planning or at least coordination of their wedding. Our clients don’t have to book these services, but many do. We offer several levels of service to meet the needs and budget of our clients. From vendor selection to timeline creation, we can help take the stress out of wedding planning.

Based on that experience, we put together a recommended vendors list that we share with all of our clients whether they have booked us for planning services or not. We have also worked with literally hundreds of wedding vendors with a wide range of price points.  This is a list of vendors that have done excellent work at Warrenwood in the past and treat our clients the way we believe you should be treated. We are also able to make are able to make custom recommendations if clients have a clear idea of what they’re looking for in a vendor.  Additionally, we provide our clients with a digital vendor-by-vendor guide to working with your wedding vendors to plan your Warrenwood wedding day.

Communication the Client’s Way

Some of our clients are email people, while some prefer a phone call. Either way, we are available to answer their questions. Prompt communication is kind of our thing. We’re a little OCD about leaving emails in our inbox or voicemails on our phone so we try to get back to our clients as soon as possible.

We also have tools for helping clients plan their event from afar. Digital floor plans & 3D venue tours are available to help clients visualize the space, shared working documents help keep everyone on the same page, and a client track system allows clients to make payments online.  We can even host planning meetings with clients over the phone if they aren’t able to come to Kentucky.

It should also be noted that we keep our social media feeds up-to-date with the latest happenings. For example, we have seasonal photo albums on Facebook, real wedding posts on our blog and on wedding days we post Instagram stories that show clients behind the scenes.  From this content, our clients can get inspiration for their own event.

Rural Yet Accessible

Warrenwood Manor is located in Danville, Kentucky.  We are conveniently located 40 miles from Lexington’s Bluegrass Airport (LEX) and around 80 miles from Louisville International Airport (SDF). Both are beautiful drives.  Clients with private planes may even be able to land a mere two miles away at our tiny little airport (DVK).

Once in Danville clients may notice the rural, small-town feel yet still having all the amenities needed for a wedding weekend.  Within three miles of Warrenwood, there are hotels, restaurants and all kinds of shopping. We have shopping staples like Starbucks, Liquor Barn, Kroger, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, and Lowe’s as well as locally owned and operated options.  For more information about Danville as a destination wedding location check our our blog post all about how to get here, what to do, where to stay and what to eat in Danville, Kentucky.
