I honestly can’t believe that it has already been a year since Katie & Chris celebrated their wedding at Warrenwood. Time has really flown by. It also feels so strange that we aren’t able to host weddings right now due to the coronavirus pandemic. Our current situation makes me cherish and appreciate our past weddings even more. It is crazy amazing that we ever get to celebrate the marriage of amazing couples like Katie & Chris.
These two are the sweetest and proof that people CAN DO HARD THINGS! Katie & Chris were moving, changing jobs and planning a wedding all at the same time. I remember talking to Katie the week of her wedding as she drove a U-Haul through traffic on her move back to Kentucky. Somehow, despite all that, their wedding was laid back, simple and refined rustic perfection. It was a stunning spring day with the trees in bloom and the sun shining. Their backyard ceremony was made complete with their dogs, a beautiful antique flower girl and a dancing ring bearer. Other special touches include a really cool vintage getaway car! Katie & Chris’ wedding day was one of those days you wouldn’t mind living in forever.
